Danish medtech startup joins select cohort of urology-focused innovators at the American Urological Association’s flagship innovation development program
Optheras A/S, a medical device company focused on advancing minimally invasive bladder cancer treatment, announced today that it has been selected to participate in the American Urological Association’s (AUA) Innovation Nexus Boot Camp, scheduled for September 18–19, 2026.
The Innovation Nexus Boot Camp is a two-day, invitation-based program hosted by the AUA that brings together urology-focused startups, physician mentors, investors, and industry strategics to help early-stage innovators sharpen their clinical, regulatory, and commercial strategy.
“Being selected for the Boot Camp is an opportunity to pressure-test our strategy in front of the clinicians, investors, and industry leaders who understand this space best,” said Thomas Alkeskjold, PhD, CEO and co-founder of Optheras.
